The historical home was restored with a contemporary addition focused to the rear of the property facing table mountain and devils peak. The new part consist of a double volume glass and steel element encapsulating the living spaces that opens onto an outdoor space. The glazed facade allows the livings space to be flooded with light facilitating a more direct relationship with the exterior especially in high summer wind conditions.
